PUPILS at Beech Grove Primary School in Wellington have been thinking about their futures in an aspirations week.

They were inspired throughout the week by a variety of local people in different careers. This included a paramedic, farmer, firefighter, doctor, author and nurse - and Wellington’s Mayor, Mark Lithgow.
Assistant headteacher Amy Walsh said: "Children were encouraged to believe in themselves and understand they can achieve whatever they want to achieve, and everything that they need to succeed is within them.
"The staff at Beech Grove would love to know if they achieve their dreams in the future.
"Thank you to all the local people who have supported us with this week; we really have appreciated it."
