THE public toilets at Wiveliscombe are due to close next month unless the town council takes them over.
The council is holding a special meeting next Monday (February 29) at 7pm at Wiveliscombe Primary School to discuss the future of the toilets.
Taunton Deane Council is closing the loos on March 31 and the town council is considering three options: taking on the freehold and running them; entering into a lease and financing running costs; allowing the toilets to close and looking to provide loos in co-operation with other services such as the community centre or library.
