WELLINGTON Town Council is in a strong financial position.

Figures published at the April meeting showed that the council has balances totalling £253,873 compared with £195,436 in April 2015.  Most of the council’s income came from its annual precept of £122,816, a council tax support grant of £13,770, VAT refund of £4,906 and £2,275 footpath grant.
