TWO Wellington men, Andy Ellins and Paul Ganniclifft, represented Great Britain in their age groups in the 2015 European Triathlon Union Challenge Weymouth European Championship Long Course at Weymouth and gave excellent performances in difficult conditions.

After swimming 2.4 miles in a very choppy Weymouth bay they cycled 112 miles around the Dorset countryside and ended by running a marathon of 26.2 miles up and down the Weymouth promenade.

Andy came 7th in the 45-49 age group in a time of 10.54.32hrs (61st in all age categories). Paul was 13th in the 40-44 age group with a time of 10.53.02hrs (59th in all age categories).
