The public toilets in Wiveliscombe re-opened last week, much to the delight of local residents, delivery drivers and waste disposal teams – and town councillor Roger Wilson (pictured) was there to make sure they looked their best.

The town council-managed toilets were re-decorated and the planters on the railings outside – in place since winter thanks to Wiveliscombe Garden Club – were filled with summer bedding plants.

The recent easing of the lockdown meant it became easier for club members to locate compost and plants.
