HAVING spent most of the past year being involved with the library re-organisation programme, the group is aiming to offer more cheerful fare in 2019.

They will be starting off with a book sale on January 11-12 in the library.

They will have their delayed annual meeting on Thursday, January 17, followed in February by the first of a new series of talks. This is on the works of Homer.

The friends would be pleased to have any suggestions for talks/workshops

and ideas can be left for the group in its box at the library. Alternatively

visitors could attend the annual meeting and share thoughts there.
