NEWLY resurfaced footpaths have smartened up Wellington Park and made it a safer place to visit. This aerial photo was taken on Thursday, just before the park re-opened to the public, and in good time for the Spring Fair held on Sunday.

Local surfacing contractor R W Gale resurfaced all the footpaths and roadways, and director David Lacey said: “The finished job looks fantastic and is much, much safer for all to enjoy our wonderful park.”
