EVERYONE is welcome at the Christmas tree lighting up ceremony in the grounds of St Peter’s Church, Langford Budville, on Saturday.

Winners of a tree decoration competition in three age groups will be announced on the night and will turn on the lights with the help of Father Christmas.

Visitors can enjoy carol singing and mulled wine and festive fare in the church afterwards.

The Friends of St Peter’s Church have organised the event, which gets under way at 5.30pm. Langford Lakes Christmas Tree Farm has given the tree.
