A WELLINGTON man who started the Waitrose fire which caused £1 million damage to the suprmarket in the town is be sentenced in the New Year.

Robert Pitman, 24, of High Street, pleased guilty at Taunton Crown Court on Monday to damaging by fire the Waitrose Store in July and being recklss. He was said to be "under a doctor."
