Hello children! I hope you are having a good week.

On Thursday, I was quite busy doing maths homework which was difficult, but I asked dad for help and then I finished it quicker. I had an early night because I was tired after doing all that schoolwork, but I spoke to Toby on the phone before bed.

On Friday, mum and dad were home from work so I could play with them all day! We did lots of arts and crafts which got really messy! I made a paper mache Easter egg and painted it pink and yellow. That night, I spoke to Toby on the phone again and we played video games in the evening.

On Saturday, dad went shopping and came back with ingredients to make cookies, so mum and I made and decorated them in the afternoon – they were really yummy! Toby and I played some video games later and we are close to reaching the highest level! I read for a little bit that night but I was tired and fell asleep quickly.

On Sunday, dad and I watched the television for a while but I really wanted to finish my book so I read until I only had a few chapters left. I promised Toby we would play video games and we tried for ages to reach the next level. Mum made a roast for dinner and it was delicious – even the vegetables! I went to bed early because I remembered I had more schoolwork to complete the next day.

On Monday I finished my maths work and started some science. We are learning about space and I had to research all the planets and how close they are to the sun. We have to complete a project on space so I started writing down facts that might help. Did you know that there are eight planets? And that Pluto is technically a ‘dwarf planet’? I didn’t know that!

On Tuesday I wanted to continue my space project so I decided to paint the planets and stars. It was sunny outside so I could play in the garden while my painting dried. In the afternoon mum and dad asked if I could help them tidy, so I cleaned my room. I was tired that evening so I read my book until I finished it and then I went to bed. What a great week!
