WELLY Fun Run has been cancelled this year.

It was being organised by Wellington Experience for Sunday, March 20, at Wellington Rugby Club but the Rugby Club has been double booked and the Football Club is unavailable.

Organiser Sue White said: “I am really disappointed that we’ve had to cancel the event but we couldn’t find another venue available at such short notice.

“We hope to reinstate the run again next year, so watch this space for more information”

Wellington Experience also hosts The World Wellington Boot Throwing Championship, which is being held on Saturday, September 10, at Court Fields School in Wellington.
