Nick Maddocks, of agents Gibbins Richards, said: “The property market and business levels at Gibbins Richards continue to grow despite the number of houses available for sale nationwide being below average for most of the year.
“However, since the onset of the winter season, we have put an unprecedented number of houses on the market which has been backed up by good sales numbers, too.
“Even leading up to the Christmas break we are preparing more houses for the 2018 market. Unusual, but great news all round! We hope that with increased stock levels more buyers will be inspired to look for their next home in the coming weeks."
