SEWED, knitted and crocheted poppies have been placed around Wellington today by the local Womens Institute in a tribute to the Fallen and serving members of our armed forces.

The WI have been adorning the town with poppies for seven years now. Bridget Hodges, the group’s leader said: “We started off small decorating the park and have grown from there.”
