THE Mayor of Wellington, Cllr Gary James, has praised WHERE – Westcountry Health Education & Research Enterprise – for its work following a concert at St John’s Church in the town.

The Maesteg Male Voice Choir was supported by the Ladies of the Somerset Hill Chorus in a concert in aid of the group.

Cllr James, writing to Barbara Ford of WHERE, said: “I would like to say a big thank you to you and all your team who helped arrange a great evening’s entertainment.

“WHERE does a great deal for the community, without whom a lot of people would have a very lonely existence.

“The efforts of your team are much appreciated and I am sure will continue to be held in high regard by the council and the people of Wellington.”
