THE long established Endymion wind ensemble (above) premiere a new arrangement of Stravinsky’s ‘Pulcinella Suite’ for wind quintet at Milverton Parish Church later this month.

Endymion were formed in 1979 and have built a consistently lively reputation across a broad and sometimes adventurous repertoire, which commands a strong following among audiences at home and internationally.

Unusually for chamber groups, Endymion retain most of their original players who number among the best soloists and chamber musicians anywhere.

They will also be performing works for piano and winds by Mozart, Beethoven and Poulenc.

The concert on Friday, November 24, is part of the Milverton Concert Society’s 31st season of professional concerts. Tickets priced £18, £16, £10 and £2 (child/student) are available via www.milvertonconcerts.org, by phone on 0333 666 3366 and in person at The Globe Inn, Milverton.
