JESSICA Crump from Wiveliscombe has been crowned winner of a charity Christmas card competition organised by a local Christmas tree farm.

Jessica, seven, won first place in the competition organised by Langford Lakes Christmas Tree Farm in aid of Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW).

Nick Hendy, manager at the tree farm at Middle Hill Farm in Langford Budville, said: “We would like to say a huge congratulations to Jessica, who is a pupil at Wiveliscombe Primary School, for coming in first place.

“As well as getting her design printed, Jessica will receive one of our home-grown Christmas trees.”

Her design and those of the runners-up will be printed and sold to raise money for CHSW. The cards can now be purchased in the shop at the tree farm.
