WELLINGTON and Taunton Young Farmers Club has handed over cheques for £1,277 each to two charities.

The money was raised carol singing on two nights leading up to Christmas and from the club’s annual summer dance held in August.

Cheques were given to Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance and the Love Musgrove MRI Campaign, and presented to both organisations at the club’s new members’ evening held at Pyrland Farm.

The evening was a great success with six new faces coming along.
