WELLINGTON Town Council was told at its monthly meeting last week that 12 youths had attended Choice and Consequences Workshops held over the Easter Holidays.

A police report also stated: “One youth has been given a conditional caution. One youth has been charged to court. One youth received a community resolution. One adult has been given a £90 penalty for public disorder.

“Drugs warrants executed – positive result. Drugs found in vehicle following MOP stopping PSCO following a suspicious incident involving a vehicle parked on High Street.”

Councillors were told that there were 308 calls for Wellington Town beat in April. There were 32 calls on 101 with an ASB report on them.

Wellington Town Centre beat surgery is held every Wednesday in the town centre Community Office between 2-3pm.
