ALL fans of Somerset County Cricket Club will be wanting to make a diary date for Friday, June 28, because that is when Mary Elworthy will be hosting her Swansong 30th Barbecue at Fitzhead.

Life long supporter of local and county cricket over the years Mary, who has served as secretary of the Taunton Area committee of Somerset CCC for longer than she cares to remember, has raised many thousands of pounds for the club, but after 30 years has decided that this will be her Swansong Barbecue.

Further details of the event which always attracts a number of players will be announced nearer the date.
