DOVES are the Thursday Afternoon Ladies' League champions at Wellington Bowling Club.

They achieved top spot in the 2023/24indoor season earlier this week with a fine win over the Robins.

Pat Bridger, Pauline Jayes and Brenda Wilson's Robins put up a good fight but Maggie Milton, Janice Thorne and Monica Carter's Doves were just too strong on the day, winning in style 13 shots to 3.

Everyone enjoyed the final indoor game but none more so than the winning team and champions Doves.
