HOT shot Abbey Ling (pictured), of Nynehead, is all smiles after winning the Universal Trench European Championships in lonato, Italy.

The clay target competition had an entry of 388 shooters and Abbey won gold in the ladies category.

Husband Ed won gold in the senior category, brother-in-law Theo took silver in the junior category and father-in-law Steve won gold in the veterans’ team.

The GB team performed well, the ladies gaining silver, the seniors gold and the juniors bronze.
