THE Somerset Intermediate Cup final between Sampford Blues and SRL Saints at Cheddar last night (April 26) was called off because of a waterlogged pitch.

"We were just about to travel when word came through at about 5.00 that the game was off," said Sampford's joint manager Nick Buttle today.
