WELLINGTON are through to the quarter-finals of the Somerset FA Under 16 Youth Shield following 5-3 home victory over Larkhall on the second pitch at the Playing Field.

Wellington had to be at their best to beat a very good Larkhall side - and deservedly led 3-1 at the interval. They continued to dominate and deservedly ran out winners of a very competitive tie.

Jake Bowden led the goal spree for Wellington with two goals, the others coming from Olly Southcott, Joe Robinson and Connor Cussans.

Wellington, who top the Under 16 section of the Taunton Youth League with a 100 per cent record, have no game this coming weekend.
