HAVING won a penalty shootout at home to Middlezoy Rovers in the Somerset Premier Cup in mid-week, Wellington will be back in action in the Premier Division of the Jewson Western Football League tomorrow (Sat).
Wellington, lying in 18th spot, play away to Oldland Abbotonians who are only one place above them in the table. Both teams are on nine points but Oldland have played two more games than their rivals.
With no news on the appointment of a new manager, chairman Mike Hall is expected to again be in charge.
Meanwhile Wellington Reserves, who lost 1-0 away to Lyme Regis last time out, are at home to Clyst Valley in the Premier Division of the Devon & Exeter League tomorrow (3p.m.).
Clyst are second from bottom, having won only one of their five games, while Wellington are in tenth spot, with two wins out of six.
Wellington A, bottom of the Premier Division in the Taunton & District Saturday League after losing all four of their opening games, are away to third-placed Galmington.
