MORE than 40 players, ex-players and supporters from Wiveliscombe Rugby Club enjoyed an end of season tour to Ghent in Belgium over the Easter.

Ed Lewsey, the club’s head coach, said: “We caught a ferry to Calais. Luckily we did not get caught up in the hold-ups at Dover.”

In the final of the tournament Wiveliscombe ran out winners 15-10 against Queen’s College, Oxford.

“The fact we won the event was a bonus,” added Lewis.
