Wellington Town Council wins £12k grant to do more to help residents through winterAnyone wanting to learn more of the language of deaf people is invited to a ‘taster session’ being held by Diane Donohue at St John’s Church, Wellington, on Thursday, January 13 (4pm).
The session is free of charge and will provide introductory signs to say ‘hello’ and perhaps to sign a simple song.
A full Level One course will be starting on Monday, February 7, at St John’s Hall (7-9pm). Contact Sharon Chorley on 01823 665254.
