Neighbours and friends at Blackmoor and Elms roads, and Beech Hill, attended a street party organised by Mayor of Wellington Gary James and his wife Bee.

The event aimed to celebrate the Royal wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markel, and allow people to rekindle friendships and make new friends.

The large swathe of grass is cut regularly by Mike Broom, who makes the place look a picture.
