HUNDREDS of parents, family and friends marked the achievements of Court Fields School, Wellington, students throughout the year at a celebration evening.

Awards were given to students who had shown an exemplary attitude to learning in a range of subjects. Some students had been recognised in more than ten subjects – recognition for their hard work and determination to do well.

All students were awarded a certificate and those who were recognised in over half of their subjects also received a badge to display on their blazer.

Specific accolades were awarded within each subject where students were recognised for their outstanding academic success over the year. They received a certificate, badge and trophy.

Other students received awards for achievements within their House with special recognition for students who had earned the most praise points – Topaz won the House trophy for most praise points overall.

The Year 9 Governors’ Shield was awarded to Sianne Chambers, who was elected by the teachers for her outstanding attitude to learning, and in recognition for the work she has done in many subjects and the support she gives to others during outdoor pursuits.
