A NATIONAL property management company has blamed chronic damp and mould problems on a Wellington estate on residents' lack of ventilation and heating.

Now residents have claimed landlords Places for People have not done enough to alleviate damp in their homes.

Mum of seven Kelly Batstone, 30, and husband Chris, 45, a Taunton taxi driver, say their children's health is under threat because of the conditions at their home at Howard Road in the town.

She told the WWN: "I'm at my wits end. I feel like a pig having been left being left like this. It's not fair."

Now, other families on the estate have contacted the WWN saying their houses also suffer damp and mould problems.
