CROWDS gathered to welcome Santa as he arrived on a John Deere tractor at a farm shop near Wellington, last Sunday (December 7).

Father Christmas is now set-up in his cosy cabin at Rumwell Farm Shop, located just off the M5 on the A38 between Taunton and Wellington.

Anne Mitchell, partner at Rumwell Farm Shop, said: “Father Christmas gave his reindeer a well-deserved rest ahead of Christmas Eve, choosing instead to make his arrival this year with us aboard a modern John Deere tractor.

“We played Christmas songs for everyone to sing-along to while they waited for him to arrive and some of his cheerful elves also handed out sweets. Once he’d made this grand entrance Father Christmas mingled with the crowds.”
