Children in Key Stage 1 at Beech Grove Primary School in Wellington have hatched their own ducklings as part of their science topic on animal offspring.

The birds are being cared for by the children and going to their forever home after half-term.
The children had been very excited about the birth of the ducklings and could not wait to see how big they were when they returned to school following the holiday.
