LOCAL people in Wiveliscombe had a crushing time at a family Apple Day on Saturday.

Grass roots community group Brendon Orchards Cooperative was offering local people the use of a fruit crusher to make apple juice.

The group, run by volunteers, planned the community juicing sessions to mark the fifth annual Apple Day at Wiveliscombe Community Centre.
