A WELLINGTON artist who achieved degree in fine art painting at the age of 69 is mounting the first exhibition of her work.
Now, Wendy Head, of Waterloo Road in the town, is encouraging older people to follow their dreams regardless of age.
Wendy told the WWN: "I have always been a painter but decided ten years ago to study, first of all for a degree in Philosophical studies, followed by a BA Hons Degree in Fine Art Painting.
"All of this took place between my 60th and 69th birthday."
