SUPERACT, an arts organisation that works in the community, has come back to Wellington with the launch of new offices at Tonedale Business Centre last week.
The organisation was launched in the town in 2006 and after several moves and expansions, including the opening of offices in Bristol and Exeter, has come back to its roots.
Superact works with works with artists, musicians and storytellers, and other members of the artistic community, and trains them to work in places like prisons, hospitals, residential homes, schools, community centres and special educational need centres.
The not-for-profit community interest company has 14 full- and part-time staff and works with 500 artists.
