Uffculme Library Friends’ latest ‘Meet The Author’ evening is tonight (Wednesday) when local author Hannah Wright will speak about her recently published book ‘Outside Time’, a personal account of prison farming and gardening.

She will share her experience of growing up on a prison farm and offer fascinating insights into the rise, fall and tentative revival of the third largest farming operation in the country.

The event is at 7pm for 7.30pm at Uffculme village hall Garden Room with admission £6 on the door. Cheese and wine is included.
