A BRAVE Wellington mum who is suffering from incurable breast cancer is the winner of a national community award.

Naomi Thomas was presented with the Caring Person of the Year award, together with a cheque for £1,000, at a celebration lunch at the Victoria Grosvenor Casino in London organised by Real People magazine and Mecca for her work setting up Wedding Wishing Well Foundation, which helps organise weddings for terminally ill women.
