GREAT British Bake Off star Val Stones will be selling her cakes, scones and other treats at a tea party in Bishops Lydeard as part of Somerset Day celebrations.

She will be raising money in aid of St Margaret’s Hospice on Saturday, May 12.

Val said: “I’ve spent a year doing things for charities outside the county. This year it’s going to be charities inside Somerset, and I particularly wanted to support St Margaret’s.”
