Rumwell Farm Shop, between Wellington and Taunton, has appointed Bob Boulton as bread bakery manager.
The father of two will handle the day-to-day running of the new bakery and manage team members, as well as develop new ideas.
Farm shop joint owner Anne Mitchell said: “We’re delighted to welcome Bob to our team. He has 35 years’ experience as a baker and, prior to his role with us, was a manager of a bakery in the area for 11 years.
“He has also worked for award-winning bakers Burns The Bread in Glastonbury, as well as Sainsbury’s and E. Paul & Sons in Taunton.”
Bob said: “I was really excited about being involved with Rumwell’s new bakery venture and helping to start it from scratch.”
