Nynehead Court is holding a Companion Dog Show later this month.   

Organised under Kennel Club Regulations, the show will take place on Bank Holiday Monday, May 29, with gates opening at noon and judging from 1pm.

Entries are invited for both Pedigree and Novelty Classes, with entry fees of £1 for the Novelty Classes and £1.50 for the Pedigree Classes. Refreshments and a raffle will be on offer with all profits going to Art Care Education, a Somerset charity which supports arts and crafts.     

Home manager Angela Watkins said: “Following the success of our Nature Day [in March] we decided we would like to host another event, and pet shows have always proved popular.

“Our residents love seeing the many different breeds of dog which people in the area have. Full details of the classes are available from Nynehead Court on our Facebook page.”
