CONGRATULATIONS to Langford Budville's bellringers who represented Taunton Branch at the Bath and Wells Association's six- bell striking competition final.

In total, 18 teams rang in heats at three eliminator towers. The top two teams went forward to the final.

Langford Budville rang at Lympsham Church in the heats and came first.

In the final, at Locking church, they rang well against strong competition from the other teams and were thrilled when the judges announced they had won.

John Hill, the conductor of the winning team, was presented with the trophy. The other team members were Rose - Anne Kimber, Christine Sherman, Jean Mathison, Paul Mainwaring and Jonathan Kimber.
