DINERS at a charity fundraiser at the Beambridge Inn, near Wellington, learnt a little about what life is like for blind former servicemen and women.
Some 50 guests, including the he 19th Duke of Somerset, wore eye masks or specially designed vision impairment glasses to simulate complete or partial loss of vision.
The Rotary EClub1200 event aimed to raise awareness and funds for Blind Veterans UK.
More than £900 was raised for the charity and the Beambridge Inn would like to thank toast master Dave Parker, who gave his time and services free of charge.
