‘BRINGING it all back home’ is the theme for Thunderbridge’s next local outing on Friday (October 27).
The local bluegrass band, who in recent years have played all over the country and abroad, are bringing their latest show to Langford Budville – the place where they played their first formative gigs over a decade ago.
Local and original member Nick Girone-Maddocks is excited about the prospect. “It’s great to pay local village halls like this,” he said. “These concerts always have tremendous support from the community and, of course, Langford Budville is a special place for the band.”
The gig is at Langford Budville village hall – doors open at 7pm for an 8pm show. A bar will be on offer and tickets, priced £10, are available from the band’s website, www.thunderbridgebluegrass.uk, from Gibbins Richards’ Wellington office or on the door. Tickets can be reserved on 01823 663080.
