THE Wallscourt Brass Quintet from Bristol will be playing music ranging from Gabrieli and Handel to Peter Warlock and Gershwin at St John’s Church in Wellington next month.

The quintet features Ailsa Bailey and Stephen Bodiley on trumpets, Dave Gee on horn, Alice Bodiley on trombone, Philip Chidgey on tuba and John Young on organ.

The concert is on Sunday, September 17, at 3pm and admission is free with tea and cake on offer in the interval. A retiring collection will be held in aid of St Margaret’s Hospice.
