EIGHTY people enjoyed a ‘Big Breakfast’ at Bradford-on-Tone village hall on Saturday raising £400 for hall funds.

Dean and Ali Smith said: “Many thanks to Rumwell Farm shop for donating all the eggs for the breakfasts and all the volunteers who helped to make th event such a huge success.”

The ‘Big Breakfast’ was held to raise money for essential hall maintenance, repair and improvement works, expected to cost £20,000.

Future fundraising events include hall committee chairman Dean running the Taunton half-marathon on April 7, a Cleverly Everly and the 60s Tribute Show on Friday, April 12, and an Italian for Beginners Day on Saturday, April 27.
