SOMERDALE International, based at Chelston, is helping to sell English clotted cream to China.

The firm, which exports British cheese and dairy products, has teamed up with Rodda’s to showcase its Classic Cornish Clotted Cream at the Food and Hotel China exhibition in Shanghai this week.

Somerdale is also showcasing its British cheeses at the exhibition as part of the UK dairy stand. It hopes the event will provide a strong platform from which to build its sales and relationships in China.

The firm is also launching a range of Gourmet Cheese Pizza Toppings at the exhibition, including British Cheddar with Cracked Black Pepper, British Cheddar with Chilli

and Lime, and Monterey Jack and Truffle.
