THE former Tui travel agency offices in Wellington town centre, which has been empty for two years, is to be sold for a second time in just six weeks.
The three-storey property next to the town’s Wetherspoon public house was only sold through auctioneers Clive Emson earlier this month for £129,000.
Now, the new owners have commissioned auctioneers Hollis Morgan to re-sell the building, this time with a guide price of £120,000.
It will be one of 20 lots for sale through an online auction to be held on December 14.
The building has a total of 3,276 sq ft of floorspace and ‘residential conversion’ was said to be one of the options for the new owner when it was purchased this month.
Hollis Morgan in its auction brochure described the property as having ‘scope for residential development subject to consents’.
The building currently has a retail unit on the ground floor and office space on its upper two levels.
