businesses in Wellington were made an offer with a difference on Tuesday - a chance to help build a jigsaw puzzle.

Fiona Mahoney and Shane Mace, dressed as butterflies, asked them to sponsor a jigsaw piece for a £60 donation to Reminiscence Learning. Those who accepted will be able to help put the whole puzzle together in April.

They will be invited to help make the 2.5m by 3m jigsaw puzzle in the Alan Rogers Centre, at Wellington School, in April - and they will be given a plaque to display in their offices.

The puzzle picture will be of butterflies and a ’butterfly moment’ poem written by Fiona. But the wording of the poem is a closely guarded secret to be revealed to supporters taking part on the day.

Reminiscence Learning is a national and regional award-winning charity based in Wellington which offers dementia care. Among other activities, it runs training workshops that are educational, fun and practical.
