THE Co-op in Fore Street, Wellington, held a charity cake sale, a raffle and put collecting pots by the tills to help St Margaret’s Hospice buy two mattresses in memory of the late Sandra Lowman.

Co-op deputy manager Sue West said: “We are very grateful for the fantastic support from the public supplying cakes and purchasing on the day, and to all the businesses for the raffle prizes.
“There were so many we will be holding a charity bingo at Wellington Rugby Club on Sunday, July 23.”
