THE gates which link South Street car park with South Street are to be replaced with railings in the next couple of months by Taunton Deane Borough Council, which owns the car park.

The news was reported at the February meeting of Wellington Town Council. The town took the issue up with the Deane after Christine Lockyear asked if anything could be done about the gates at the town’s December meeting.
