A charity afternoon tea is being held at the Beambridge Inn near Wellington on St David’s Day, Friday, March 1, in aid of Marie Curie Cancer Care.

The guest speaker is Nancy Powell-Brace, co-owner of Odette’s tea room in High Street, Wellington.

Nancy recently walked 180 miles from London to Wellington Monument in a week in aid of the National Trust project to restore the monument.

Bookings are now being taken for the event.
